Use your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to control Insteon lights and appliances in your home from anywhere with an Internet connection. Homeboy uses the native look and feel of your device to provide your entire family with a simple way of controlling the home. Set up your Insteon home and devices using Insteon's Insteon for Hub app, then use Homeboy to control it all. Just sign in with your Insteon account credentials.

Current Limitations
We encourage you to provide feedback about issues and feature requests. Current known limitations:
- Supports most Insteon lighting and appliance modules, dimmers, and outlets
- Supports primary load on keypads and dual outlets
- Does not support sensors, cameras, or X10 devices
- I/O Linc modules may not show accurate status

- Activate or end your favorite scenes right from your wrist with the new Homeboy for Insteon Hub app on Apple Watch.
- Set your Favorite devices and scenes—without the manufacturer’s app—from updated device and scene Details screens in Homeboy.
- Switch between Favorites in the general app settings; choose whether you want Homeboy to show the favorites as you’ve defined them in Insteon Lighting or as they’re represented in the legacy Insteon for Hub app.
- Open Homeboy by tapping our updated app icon.
- We also corrected a problem where tabs didn’t display correctly in some situations.
Apple Watch app
Introducing Homeboy for Insteon Hub on Apple Watch. This is a fast and easy way to activate or end your favorite scenes right from your wrist!
- Select and control all of the scenes in your Favorites
- Use Favorites from either Insteon Lighting or the legacy Insteon for Hub app, as set in the Homeboy app on your phone.
To use Homeboy on your Apple Watch, you must log in to your Insteon account using Homeboy for Insteon Hub on your iPhone.

Insteon’s new mobile app is out now, and it has a completely new way of managing favorites. What happened to your old favorites? They’re still available in the old app. And we have them for you here in Homeboy. Tap the split star to toggle between your new favorite devices and your old favorite devices and scenes.
We also addressed some other minor issues in this release:
- Fixed a bug that could cause your app to crash when switching between homes.
- Fixed some broken links in Settings.
- Fixed a problem where, in iOS 11 and 12, the color of the title and navigation area could be incorrect.
